#20676 - RE: Add external RAM to 8051 with latch |
candy:
1.latch is used to demultiplex address and data signals on ad0-ad7.in first phase address is given out with ale signal and in second phase data is given out.ale latches the address in extrnal latch and that can be used for further operations like memory access. 2.for connecting ram connect rd/ and wr/ signals to ur ram.connect address lines to a8-a15 directly.connect lower address byte a0 to a7 to LATCH output.use these lines to generate ur logic. as one of our illustious forum members erik malund would say "read the data book" pranav |
