The target is AT89c2051 and it has internal flash of 2k.When I select "Use on-chip ROM(0x0000-0x7ff)" in the target option, I got error of "Address space overflow" . If I don't select that option, the output hex file shows that the program starts at 0x0800 instead of 0x0000. Does anyone know what the problem is? Is there anything to do with the startup.a51 file?

The Keil eval package is crippled soit cannot be used for real applications in many cases.

Try www.raisonance.com or www.amrai.com and download our 4KB evaluation. If youwant to use the Keil tools you need to purchase the full Keil package.
