All demo/eval stuff has some limits - the idea is for you to Evaluate the product, not for you to get a free toolkit!

eg, many demos of PC apps disable printing and/or saving.

It is perfectly possible to build working applications using the Keil Eval - so long as you work within its restrictions (ie, make sure that your code memory starts at 0x4000!)

I agree with Andy in this. The 4KB limit isn't intended to give you a free tool set. The intent is to give you enough working space to truly evaluate the tools. Raisonance has impressive floating point capabilities that just cannot be showcased in a 2KB evaluation. Plus as I recall there are several standard benchmarks that cannot be compiled in a 2KB evaluation. Keil gets around this by providing executing versions of the benchmarks on thier CD. This means that while the person evaluating the software can see what is produced they cannot alter it to see "what ifs" regarding the tools. At Raisonance we decided that rather than do that we would just make the eval large enough to actually compile the benchmark.
I still suggest that you download the evaluation tools from Raisonance either from www.raisonance.com or www.amrai.com to evaluate and utilize.
