#20968 - RE: traction control /speed governing
Why can't you write this in a C / assembly complier? It's going to be done on a 8051 dev board, so you should be able to write this in C and stuff it onto the board.

" OUTPUT #3 will end rule violation " by cutting all power to the igntition coil. This makes the engine output zero power and the traction will be instantly returned due to engine braking.

I thought about using stock Fors speed sensors only because of ease of use for the front wheels, since they have no axle. From what I can see, they use a gearing system inside a small sensor. It may be possible to put an optical sensor in place.
I would have liked to use optical sensors for the wheels, as they would be much easier to use. But an ADC should be able to translate the signals from the Ford sensors (I will determine their output soon).

Open and public is fine with me. I've worn out my welcome at Google looking for anyone else out there doing this. It seems a simple project, with just some in depth testing installed in a car.
