#20983 - RE: Problem with multiple variables in ASM |
I wonder if perhaps there should be a list of common 8051 problems that could be posted to help those begining to program for the 8051.
That was the idea behind the 8052 FAQ. The 8052 FAQ already has a number of common questions and answers. I'd like to add more, but I do so on a time-available basis. Knowing that I would never be able to write all the FAQ entries myself I configured the above page so that anyone can add a FAQ entry. When someone writes a FAQ entry I am notified automatically via email, review the entry, and if appropriate I have the system automatically add it to the FAQ. Unfortunately, the "Add FAQ" feature has been completely misunderstood and, instead, almost all the FAQs that users have tried to "add" are actually just questions. I guess they hope someone will read their questions and answer them. So... anyone that sees questions in the forum being asked over and over, please visit the 8052 FAQ and see if the question is already answered. If it isn't, and you feel like it, I would encourage you to write up a FAQ entry which will be subsequently added to the FAQ. In fact, you can even add the FAQ and then reply to the original message and tell them to refer to the FAQ! :) Craig Steiner 8052.com Webmaster |
