#21005 - 4-20mA interface |
For a new project I need to read a 4-20mA industrial standard analog signal. Are there any chips (some ADC variant I suppose) that do just this?
Alternatively, what is needed to convert the current to a 0-5V signal using discrete components, so an ordinary ADC can be used? (I know about ohms laws, but need some more concrete help). Any diagrams and/or references to documents would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance. Manfred |
