#21226 - RE: MAX232 and Fried PC Serial Port |
Connect an resistor in series 470E or 1k each inside the hood of the 3 wire cable at pin 2 & 3 and it works properly. The same problem was I faced in my 386 machine after installing the resistor, it is working fine and not blowing the serial port of the PC.
