Hello all
I have put a 128K X 8 RAM.I have a doubt.That is I am running my 8051 @12MHZ.I have used p1.0 as A16 of the 128K SRAM.Now, I have an LCD.I wrote GOOD-MORNING in memory and I wanted to display same on LCD.But it is not coming properly.In between D,O,R,G are coming as some junk.

Help me what access speed of SRAM suits me?
Even I have connected a printer(Parallel).On this also junk is printed.Not data.

Can anybody give a piece of code where using p1.0 as A16, I can write & read on the 128K X 8 bytes SRAM.
