Is an oscilliscope really what you want or do you need a waveform display? An oscilliscope is a precision device whose emulation you will have to carefully consider. If displaying waveforms is what you really want you have a lot of options. Questions you might ask yourself are: 1) What precision depth 8,10,12,16 Bit? 2) Continous Operation or fixed Sample or fixed Time buffering. 3) High order Front end filtering or Oversampled Front end. 4) How many channels? 5) Software/Hardware tradeoff mix. regards, p |
