Hi,
I am gathering information about flatbed scanners.
How they work, how to get data from linear CCD chip. I have following questions with me, if someone can help me!!

1- How we can interface a linear CCD such as Sony's 'ILX533K' with 8051/52 series microcontrollers.

2- What kind of image standard/format usually they use, if there is any standard to follow, I guess there should be some standard.

3- Another question, which is relatively far from this subject, what is algorithm a normal printer buffer uses.

Perhaps someone have already worked on...
