#21846 - RE: Quick question on port operations |
A doubt has arised in my mind:
if, as suggested by Rob, I connect the port pin to GND, when the switch is closed, am I not wasting current? I mean, I am sourcing current to ground, because of the internal pullup, and I am not sure that my application has too much current to waste :o) is it not best to connect two port pins and check if the second becomes high because connected to the first? will I waste current in this way too? or maybe if I write 0 to the port pin connected to GND (after checking) I won't waste current? Best regards, teo. |
