Walter: I've emailed mitsubishi and got 3 companies which supply chips in the UK so I'm going to give them a call. The Omni vision chips seem to put out the data at a very fast rate, even if you slow it down to 1FPS the clock pulse still comes out at the same speed, it's just that the HCTL line is low, so you know the data isn't for you. the Pixel Pulse looks to be 139ns, can a 8052 running at 12MHZ pick that up, then read the I/O port and be ready for the next one? it seems a little bit quick...
