Thanks for all the responses... but I have one comment about the reset question I had. I wasn't asking how I could reset the micro, I was noticing that sometimes when I powered it up it would be in an idle state and would require a reset to bring it out. However, I also discovered that it only happened if I started the oscillator input before I powered up Vcc -- now it's fine if I start Vcc before the oscillator. |
