#2219 - RE: and again: GPIB |
Hello Olaf,
i think gpib (or hpib, iec-bus, ieee-488...) got still future in electronic measurements. You can realise a gpib controller using a 8052, but don't waste your time doing this, because there are a lot of gpib-controllers available. Because I could not find your first message, I don't know about your problem with gpib. You can get gpib controllers from National Instruments, Ines GmbH, Computerboards, and some more. Try to visit their webpages to get the Datasheets. Most of the controllers a compatible to the old NEC 7210. You can get GPIB Drivers (75162/75160) from Texas Instruments, but some companies, like ines, have a controller with driver on a single chip. The price of gpib controllers is about 25 Euro. The Interface from the gpib-controller to your system controller (8052) is simple, you find some applications at the datasheets or some books. try that pages: www.ti.com www.7210.com www.ti.com i don't know the webpage from ines at the moment, but i am sure you will find it at the web Alex |
