I can assure you that the MSC1210 does give results that is equal to non-integrated solutions. This part gives performance which is close to 22 bits for RMS noise. I believe you will find that it will perform well in 16-bit applications. The INL is specified to 16 bits and is typically 17 bits. The input is chopper stabalized to compensate for drift.
