You are exactly right. You can't assume because you have a 24-bit converter that you can achieve 24-bit accuracy. But the original requirement was for 16-bits and the MSC1210 does get you into that area. As in all cases the final resolution and accuracy will depend on dealing with all the details and error sources. |
