This is a hard one to search for on the WEB as Raster Graphics is a very old (in technology time) technique not used much. As Andy indicated this was the original technique for video games. As such if you search for video games you will find a lot of peripheral reference to the technique. What are you using for DACs? Typically you need two and preferably three DACs (X/Y/Z). Your sweep rate will set the transaction rate of the interface and the "presentation quality". Long phosphor CRT's are best as they allow a slow sweep rate.
