I am using TUSB3200 and since both chips are very similar
this might also the case for TUSB3210:

TUSB 3200 has only a master I2C interface

TUSB 3200 has problems when the slave needs some waitstates.

There is a appnote at TI . Search for TAS3001
(Interfacing with TUSB3200)
