No need to say sorry: a GAL is a programmable logic device, where Inputs/Outputs can be defined to behave in a certain manner. You could for exp. replace a 74HC138 and other TTL logic with a GAL (Generic Array Logic if I remember correctly)..
How is your LCD attached? Through Port Pins of the uP or have you memory mapped it? Werner |
