Hello all,

I am using 8051 microcontroller on a PCB

I have programmed the microcontroller.
The chip is not functioning. I am unable find the proper circuits for RESET and other essential pin connections.

The connections what i have done is,

1. connected pin 20 to ground and 40 to vcc(+5v)
2. connected pin 31 to Vcc since I am using
internal memory
3. pin 18 and pin 19 to 10MHz crystal.33PF capacitor connected to ground from both pins(18 and 19)
4. pin 9 (reset )connected to ground through 10K resistor, 10MFD capacitor connected to Vcc and pin 9

with all these connections i am unable to get the response from controller
