This seems to be an application for an Adaptative Filter (optimum filter). You want to predict the output based on previous inputs (samples).

Maybe a Kalman Filter is also useful, but too much complex to program.

Try to ask for help your problem in newsgroup comp.dsp, I'm sure someone will show the rabbit out the hat. There are a lot of good posters there.
