I use Borland Builder C++ with the excellent free serial port library which can be downloaded from : http://www2.arnes.si/~sopecrni/ it has also help files and examples how to use it . 2. if you dont know c++ you can use visual basic. You can read the help files in microsoft's developpers site to see examples of how to implement serial comms with vb. But I recommend strongly using borland builder because its very easy to learn and program. 3. MATLAB can also be used to read directly from serial port and it has extremely powerful mathematical tools and beautiful graphs and charting. Good Luck Mahmood |
