#23726 - RE: 8051 Arcnet |
Hello,
Ten years ago, they produced Arcnet peripheral chips. They worked well. Problem is that Arcnet protocol was a proprietary one. The ultima ratio method is to implement your own Arcnet peripheral in the FPGA like Triscend E5 chip. Consult the WEB to find more infos on Arcnet. You have two policies : If your projet is mandatory with an Arcnet interface, you need to implement it yourself from scratch, certainly a difficult task. If you are free to choose a protocol, one choice is clear : Ethernet ! Dallas have theoricaly a 8051 derivative with an Ethernet interface. See their WEB server for more infos. Best regards, J.M. |
