I am using the SDCC-Compiler with P87C591-Chips. It was easy to install, and I had no bigger problems to get it run. Currently I've got code sizes in the range of 8K and find it boring to wait 10 seconds to get it compiled (400 MHz PC). Be aware, that only the standart 8051-Interrupts are supported! It works, but I'm not really happy with it and I'm thinking a little bit to change to EPascal... (At this large code-sizes it would be really difficult to change to Asm, thoug I'm experienced). I am going to use the T89C51CC01, and we will see, what compiler I am going to use...
