I think this sort of "problem" [1] results from its UNIX origins? [1] UNIX types actually like things to be case-sensitive - after all, 'C' itself is case-sensitive. Those of us from PC and/or VAX backgrounds can find this rather annoying: you can entirely change the meaning of some option simply by typing it in the wrong case! But now I'm digressing from my own topic! :-( |
