4 data pins to a cd4511 for data.
and a 2 to 4 decoder to select segments,for exable 1/2 of cd4052 (common pin to Vcc through a 5-10k resistor and 4 output pins to transistors or uln2003).
but you can't drive decimal dots.
except if you want to drive always the same decimal dot(in this case you can drive it from the decoder).
