i wanted to know why the reset pin of 8051 microcontroller is held high for 2 machine cycles(24 clk periods). what exactly happens in those clk periods. is it really required to keep the reset pin high for that much amount of time? if we keep it high for less than 2 Machine Cycles what are the consequences.
