Yes declaring an sfr for 8051 for extra port sounds too good. Supposing i declare the sfr in my VHDL code then what ?? I need to prepare it to become functional like the other four ports. I want to know just exactly what is the method of making the 8051 understand that there are 2 new ports appended to it.
