sure there are lots of fancy functions to convert from binary to hex string or decimal in VB.

That's one of the attractions of using a HLL.

Since i use borland builder now I dont need VB any more.

But I still would like to know what sort of problems you encountered, because the fact that I have not had any yet does not mean I won't be seeing them at all ... We are talking about a Microsoft product after all ;o)
