That depends on how you look at it (see Andy's post) but in your example if the uC sends '23', Text1.Text will contain the string "23". Why don't you just get behind that keyboard and write a simple piece of code to see what it does? Use the Help function to find out about the posibilities of the Format function and play around with it!
