#25885 - RE: power supplies Rob |
OKey Rob i'm very much new to the field of micocontrollers and embedded systems. Up untill now i have an idea that the a embedded system has a power supply from the mains and it has on board unit to convert it in the desireable units. okey tell me more about wall-wart and how do i incorporate it on my application, i mean lets take the example of my system, i need power supply for my 8051 and other TTL level chips, then i need power supply for my detector units which require 12V and specific current. it is possible that in future we use other infrared detectors which also require their own specific power supply requirements. so what is the best approach to tackle this situation.
also if i am using wall-wart solution, what will this unit provides me, i mean does it produces all what i require or do i still need some circuit on my application. that is why i requested you to educate me in some detail about what are the best practices in practice. Shahzad |
