We are using Philips RD2 micros in one of our designs and we are facing frequent failure of the ISP.We have tried both Flash Magic and WINISP. The devices which work fine for a period of time suddenly do not get initialised through the ISP software . However the program already stored in Flash continues to work.We are sure that we have not exhausted the Flash life of 10000 program erase cycles even though we do erase and reprogram as we are still in development phase. On 2 occasions this has happened when power failed as the programming was in progress. On others it just happens after some days of use ie program / erase cycles. Have any of you faced such a problem? any clues to revive the devices.
