#2601 - RE: ISP Flash |
Hi Matt,
I have never seen such a device. But I suggest using the DS87C520 as OTP. It can switch off the internal code memory by software. So you can download from an EEPROM (AT24C512) into the external SRAM and than execute from SRAM without banking or redirection of interrupts. The WSI are nice, but if you want to work at full speed (33MHz) its to slow. Its easier and not expensive to get high speed SRAM (e.g. 25ns), since used inside every PC as cache. I work today on a project with the romless DS80C320 using a CPLD (Xilinx coolrunner) to download from the EEPROM to the SRAM. Peter |
