#26067 - RE: Conversion from ASCII to floating point |
Thanks every1. To Andy: Yes, you're correct, it's not exactly in ASCII format. But from the press of a key on the keypad, I can easily convert it into ASCII and send it to the LCD to display. The only thing I need is to keep the value. Any tips? To all: I'm actually using the 8051 to do array floating point (4 bytes) addition and multiplication. Does anyone know the how to represent floating point values in bytes? I mean what does byte 1, byte 2, byte 3 and byte 4 represent. Where can I find this information? Thanks again. |
