You mean you are directly connecting P0 to the data bus of ROM?? Then how do you generate address for ROM? The standard way to expand 8051 is to use a 74ls373/573 latch (which de-multiplexes the lower 8 address bits from data). Then there is some address decoding etc. Could you please elaborate more your design?? Regards IA |
