Dear Mak,
I have used 89C52 in one of my application. I had referred to atmel's application notes for some connections while I was begining. For reset you can use combination of a 10 Microfarad capactior and resistor of 8.2K in series. Their common point will go the reset terminal. The other end of capacitor will be strapped to Vcc and other of resistor grounded.
There are some other problems created from power supply as well. General Suggestion is to use 0.1Microfarad as decopling caps.
