Erik: This exactly was my next step you read my mind! :)
Ijaz: if baud rates were wrong i won't get the command echoed from the modem to the lcd + error message. Enrique: thanx for the info I will try it and let you know. It looks like the gsm modem is playing games with me or i have to put lots of delays somewhere to simulate hyper terminal. Any more logical explanation for the problem ? It doesnt make sense unless there is a difference between hyper terminal and uart of the controller. I can't think of any difference since i get the wright command echoed back from the modem. thanx |
