I hadn't considered the cool runner - the job is very very slow (mechanical switch interface), so a coolrunner is ideal. I'll try that instead. I see a lot of people using code entry rather than schematic entry too. Schematic is faster to come up to speed I suppose. Andy, the E5 is a silly device. Not only can your software be stolen easily, but now so can your hardware design. Dumb. It doesn't matter in this design, but I have a bucket of 89C52 devices, so that's the processor in this one.
