#27409 - Stopping a DC Motor Instantly |
Hello,
I am using a 12V geared DC Motor in a peristaltic pump. I am controlling the motor through a port line of 8051 through a relay. The problem is that when I switch off the motor by making the port line low, the dc motor doesnot stop instantly. It moves a certain distance due to inertia. My application requires to stop the motor instantly. Please advise. Regards, Mohit |
