I actually saw an embedded webserver unit at a project exhibition. They had implemented the whole TCP/IP stack in a PIC micro (PICs seem to be very popular for this sort of application... any idea why?). They connected to the network through a Ethernet interface IC with which the PIC communicated.
They had actually hosted a website on their product from a local ISP. The pages were loaded into a memory module via serial communication with a PC. I'll see if I can find the link to their website, where they gave information about the project. As for 8052 TCP/IP there's a very conspicuous link at the left hand side of this page :-)) kundi |
