#27668 - RE: 8052 based web server. |
No, that would be me. ;)
Seriously, we took the CMX MicroNet TCP/IP stack and used it with a Philips '591 on a Phytec phyCORE module. It connected directly to a standard modem via the 8051's UART. In our implementation it just sits there until you dial in, then establishes a PPP connection. You then fire up the web browser. Data from the 8051 (static and dynamic) can be combined with data from a PC. I believe Micronet also now supports Ethernet controllers, so you can do it that way too. For an article on what we did with a Philips 8051 and CMX Micronet, check out the EE Times article written about it at: http://www.esacademy.com/faq/docs/embint/ Andy Embedded Systems Academy aayre@esacademy.com Andy Neil wrote: ------------------------------- Bryan Whitton wrote: "... www.esacademy.com Andy implemented the CMX TCP/IP stack ..." Just to avoid possible confusion, that's not me! |
