#27739 - RE: Reply to Tom |
Hi Tom
I used your Micro on project to do protocol conversion for a Y2K problem. After I figured out how to get the UART to synchronize at 1200 baud odd parity it worked fine. I have 20 of them installed at hydro plants now converting old Beta Products Sequence of Events Recorder time and date to current time and date. What it is doing, is searching character by character in a file for the bad time and date and fixes it and passes it on to the RTU. Fun project! Does to product have an optional xtal of 11.059 mhz? This product will work fine for profiling the wind for potential windmill sites. I don’t know why I didn’t think of using the Micro for this. Just getting old I guess or maybe it was the one wire weather station response that clued me in. Thanks, Joe |
