Hi Glenn,
seems, you want to connect the SJA1000 ? Then /CS can be hold permanently low. Also address and data can be loaded directly into P1 and there is no need to use R0/R1 at first. And anytime before /RD was pulled low, P1 must be loaded with 0FFh to deactivate the strong low level output stages. There exist also a CAN controller from Microchip with SPI interface. Peter |
