Hello Experts,

I'm trying to use SST FlexFlash (SST89C58). What I find is 256 bytes RAM size is not enough for my program, but I still don't want to use external RAM. What I want to do is to use the 4K internal flash memory as a data memory.
Now, I face with two problems here.

1. Can I ever map the 4K Flash Memory into Data Memory?

2. If I can, the memory type is FLASH not SRAM. So I'd guess access will be slow, and I cannot erase and write data almost forever like with SRAM. Do you think it's silly idea to use this 4K as an extended data memory?
