The right solution:
a supervisor and an oscillator. The supervisor is mandatory, no RC will reset multiple processors reliably - not that it necessarily will do that to a single processor. If you are creating a mass market product and NEED to save a few cents you CAN use one of the processors to generate the clock and buffer the clock with a HCT inverter. Erik |
