Thats right, but you have to clock in a total of 3 bytes to get a conversion.
1 to start it, select channel, mode, range etc. 2 first byte of answer 3 second byte of answer. Sure, its only an 8 bit device, but the word format is identical to its bigger brothers. You throw away two bytes of the reply from the chip ! Steve |
