#28708 - ADC0804LCN 8-bit A/D converter |
Hi there i am having trouble interfacing a ADC0804LCN 8-bit A/D converter to my 8051, I tested the ADC0804LCN 8-bit A/D converter on its own connected to leds and it works fine but when I connect it(directly no pull ups) to P1 of the 8051 I can not read anay values at the port, I tried connecting pullups but the only value that seems to work is 100 ohm resistor connected to VCC I am not too happy using 100 ohm I feel its a bit small and will not result in a stable circuit anybody have any suggestions, according to the ADC0804LCN 8-bit A/D converter spec I could connect it directly to the 51 or should I use another port would this make a difference I am using the Philips P89c51RC2 flash device is there something i am missing
Kind Regards Michael |
