#2904 - RE: Strange Problem with 89C2051 |
I agree Peter, it was my fault.
However, I still got a problem. The application controls six appliances thru a remote control. The output of the IR sensor is connected to a port pin 3.2 Say a key is pressed to control the speed of a fan. The code is programed that if the key is kept pressed (continuous IR detected) then it keeps increasing or decreasing the speed depending on which key has been pressed. However, sometimes it keeps changing the speed even if the remote key is released after a small single press. does it pull the IR input pin p3.2 of the micro low, so that the code senses it always low and assumes that key is still pressed, or does it overload the micro and it locks up ?? Thank you Babar/ |
