Hi Babar,

it should be the software to decode the IR code.

E.g. if the timer to detect the repeat interval was free running
or not reset, you must only press the key short before
the overflow occur.
Then the overflow see still the same pressed key.

Latch up errors typically results in complete hanging, heating
or damaging of the micro.
