#29053 - RE: Fail to initialise LCD using 4 bit mode |
Hi all,
Thanks for all the suggestions. Actually I have tried giving a few milli-seconds delay in between instructions and it works well. But I thought that checking the busy flag would be a better way. So have any one succeeded in doing the checking BF state method in 4 bit mode? I have another question. Why is it that when I try sending 01001000 to the LCD it displays the ohm character instead of the H character. Sending and displaying smaller binaries are ok, e.g. 1,2,3....but H and bigger cannot be dispayed. In addition, what are the difference between the two ROM code? Thanks all |
